John Cyprian Rust's "Doksologio", which first appeared in Ordo de Diservo, 1907

Ordo de Diservo (Order of Worship) was the first published compilation containing Christian hymns in the Esperanto language. It was published in Cambridge, England, in 1907, for use in a Protestant (Church of England) worship service to take place during the third annual world convention ("Universala Kongreso") of Esperantists, held that year in Cambridge. It is a modest publication, intended merely to suffice for that one service, yet it contains some original material of lasting value, such as John Cyprian Rust's doxology (see image at right).
