Although the CyberHymnal suggests omitting v. 8 of "Hail Sovereign Love" to make it fit the tune, I would suggest instead either singing the final verse (9) twice, or returning to v. 1 for the ending (as is done in "His Voice As the Sound of the Dulcimer Sweet" when sung to Samanthra).
