Talk:賛美歌, 1989

Unfortunately, my computer (or my fonts, or my copy of Firefox... I am not sure where the culprit is hiding) only shows me some Japanese characters. In this case I see what are probably two spaces followed by the kanji for "song" 歌 (normal reading "uta", but in this context probably to be read "-ka"). Since the two spaces preceding it are blank, I don't know if they read "san-bi-" or "shin-sei-" or even (if there's room there for three kana) "shi-o-n", or what. Do you know how to transliterate this title?

I have three Japanese hymnals: the 1954 Sanbika, the 1966(?) Sanbika Dainihen, and the 1995(?) Sanbika 21. (The question marks are because I'm taking the dates from memory rather than going to the bookshelf to check. The three that I have are all products of the United Church of Japan, and are designed for a general protestant market. --Haruo 20:44, 28 July 2007 (MDT)

I added a jpg of an enlarged screenshot of the text. Thanks for the note. I personally don't know how to transliterate it (nor how to pronounce it). Veramet 22:15, 28 July 2007 (MDT)
