Soon there should be templates available for users - i.e. templates for LilyPond sheet music, hymn pages, and such. Of course, no one is required to use these templates, but they may provide some needed help. Feel free to add your own templates on the following page, for others to use: user-made templates.
For now, just take a look at some existing hymns and see how they're laid out. Browse the site, and become familiar with how it works.
