Lyrics from A Collection of Sacred Hymns, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1841

Hymn 127
L.M.
1. Arise, in all thy splendor, Lord.
Let pow'r attend thy gracious word;
Unvail the beauties of thy face,
And show the glories of thy grace.

2. Diffuse thy light and truth abroad,
And be thou known th' Almighty God;
Make bare thine arm—thy pow'r display,
While truth and grace thy sceptre sway

3. Send forth thy messengers of peace,
Make Satan's reign and empire cease;
Let thy salvation, Lord, be known
Then all the world thy pow'r may own.
