I just thought since (a) "Ye" is the original form and (b) the lyrics you cite have "Ye", it made sense for that to be the default title. I, like you, have not found out who started using "We", or when. What shall we do about the "[[Marching to Zion]]" version? (With [[Robert Lowry|Lowry]]'s tune and refrain, that is.
