Life[1]
- Born: 13 Jan 1836
- Died: 28 May 1920
- Some later sources say he died in 1925, although this appears to be false, seeing as the cited sources (see both Trinity College … and Methodist Hymnal (p. 462–463)) connect this same Edwin Pond Parker with the tune arrangement Mercy (Gottschalk), and that Parker is the same one connected with the others.
