General Information
- This hymnal was not officially put out by the LDS (Mormon) church, though it is possibly the first hymnal with tunes designed for the LDS church.
- Many of the tunes are quite different from most modern hymns, though some are pretty much the same.
Copyright
- It is possible that the copyright on the compilation has been renewed in the reprinting (though that contains another song, and perhaps this is why the reprinting may be copyrighted). The individual songs, however, are definitely public domain.
