If the source is just the Cyberhymnal or something, we still need to cite it as coming from there. Hymns Old &amp;amp; New Anglican Edition Published 1986 gives the lyrics by Katharina von Schlegel (b. 1697) translated by J.L. Borthwick who's dates I have established were (1813-1897). This means unless Katharina is still alive (v. unlikely at 312) and claims the copyright for the translation (which would not be hers), it expired in 1947 which establishes it in the Public Domain - see [http://www.hymnswithoutwords.com/hymns/Be_still,_my_soul http://www.hymnswithoutwords.com/hymns/Be_still,_my_soul]. Charlotte Elliot wrote this song about how to find salvation through Christ.  It has been used by many as the call to the altar at the close of services, as it brings a quiet simple message of sin, forgiveness, and salvation to all that listen.&lt;br /&gt;
